Mick Jagger to Perform at White House Blues event
Mick Jagger will be performing at In Performance at the White House: Red, White and Blues, an event to celebrate and honour blues music. Mick is joining artists such as longtime Stones collaborator Buddy Guy, B.B. King, Jeff Beck, Keb Mo and Derek Trucks, among many other esteemed musicians. Booker T. Jones will be music director and band leader.
Keith Richards to play at Howlin for Hubert
Keith Richards is to play at Howlin for Hubert, a tribute concert for the Rolling Stones' friend and hero, Hubert Sumlin, who passed away in December.
The concert will take place at the Apollo Theater, NYC, on 24th February. Other musicians also playing include Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, David Johansen and Derek Trucks, among others. Tickets are available from: howlinforhubert@eventassociatesinc.com
Hubert Sumlin played guitar with Howlin' Wolf and was a huge inspiration for the band. When he passed away Mick and Keith paid tribute:

The Rolling Stones have released their second official bootleg album, Hampton Coliseum (Live 1981) through StonesArchiveStore.com. Following the success of their first official bootleg The Brussels Affair in November, the band have now released the notorious, and oft bootlegged show recorded in Virginia on 18th December 1981.
